This procedure involves a comprehensive assessment of die doors/enclosures and associated switches on press machinery.

Visually inspect cabinet and all doors for visual damage.

Ensure cabinets and all doors are properly secured.

Inspect door handles (and pulley system as required).

Ensure handles are secured properly.

Ensure handles operate properly.

For Lifting doors: check pulley and cable system for frays or chips in pulley.

Clean door windows.

Clean door tray of debris.

Visually inspect door switches, connectors, and wiring.

Check for loose connections.

Check wiring for cuts, tears, and ensure no bare wires are showing.

Ensure wiring is properly secured to the cabinets/press.

Ensure door fault is present on Press PLC while doors are open.

Close each door individually and ensure the fault will not clear while other doors are open.

Clear faults and ensure no door faults are present when doors are closed.

If no issues, prepare for operation of press.
