The Lennox XC16 TWO-STAGE AIR CONDITIONER Maintenance Form is divided into several parts allowing you to inspect it thoroughly by using the provided detailed checklist. Ensure your equipment's quality performance by using this form. Follow the precautionary measures included to protect your personell's safety, as well.

    Installation and service must be performed by a licensed professional installer (or equivalent) or a service agency. At the beginning of each cooling season, the system should be checked as follows:

    WARNING: Electric shock hazard. Can cause injury or death. Before attempting to perform any service or maintenance, turn the electrical power to unit OFF at disconnect switch(es). Unit may have multiple power supplies.

    TWO−STAGE COMPRESSOR CHECKS

    Use the checklist procedure on page 23, to verify part-load and full-load capacity operation of two-stage modulation compressors.

    IMPORTANT: This performance check is ONLY valid on systems that have clean indoor and outdoor coils, proper airflow over coils, and correct system refrigerant charge. All components in the system must be functioning proper to correctly perform compressor

    Homeowner Information

    In order to ensure peak performance, your system must be properly maintained. Clogged filters and blocked airflow prevent your unit from operating at its most efficient level.
