Always disconnect the power supply before any maintenance or adjustments. Do not use for metal sanding; this could cause fire hazards with the dust collector. Never sand pieces that are too small to hold safely. Use only the downward-rotating side of the disc for sanding to prevent throwbacks. Keep hands and fingers clear of moving parts and sanding surfaces.
Pre-operation Checklist
Operating Procedures
1. Ensure all adjustments and safety checks are completed. 2. Flip the On/Off switch to start the sander. 3. Allow the machine to reach full speed before beginning any sanding operation.
1. Adjust the angle of the belt table to the required angle using the scale. 2. Use the miter gauge or work stop as needed for support. 3. Lightly press the workpiece against the belt, moving it left and right to avoid heat buildup. 4. Do not force the workpiece into the belt—let the sander do the work.
1. Set the disc table to the desired angle and ensure it is securely locked. 2. Always sand on the left side (downward rotating side) of the disc to avoid accidents. 3. Apply light pressure and move the workpiece slightly to prevent overheating or burning the surface.
Flip the On/Off switch to stop the sander. Wait for the machine to come to a complete stop before leaving the area.
In case of any malfunction (e.g., jammed workpiece), immediately press the emergency stop button, unplug the machine, and wait for all moving parts to stop. Report any injuries or unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
Belt runs off the rollers: Adjust the belt tracking using the tracking adjustment knob. Burning of wood during sanding: Replace worn-out belt/disc or adjust sanding pressure. For more information refer to manual
