Safety
(Informational) Before servicing any equipment make certain you have all the necessary tools and PPE to complete the Service. <br>Walk the service area and identify any/all safety hazards that require attention prior to service. <br>Below is a list of hazards that need to be identified and corrected prior to servicing equipment
<font color=red>*** Take Photo(s) and add Comment(s) for any Hazards found on the applicable task line ***
Check for any slip, trip, and falls hazards
Check for Control or safety device Bypasses
Check for non-OEM approved equipment modifications
Check all safety guards for damage, missing, or loose mounting
Check for any obstructions that will keep you from servicing equipment
Check for Electrical, Chemical, or biological hazards
Check for any Extreme heat, cold, or moisture in the service area.
Rack Inspection
<font color=red> <i>The following issues are conditions that should be observed when inspecting Racks</i>
Check for Misalignment of racks (not plumb or flush)
Components dislodged or loose (beams, FBMOs, deck boards, anchor bolts and nuts, feet, rack protectors, Overloading & Capacity
Bent, severed and twisted beams & uprights
Excessive rust or corrosion
Cracked or broken weld
Add-on items affecting integrity
Decking damage (Rotted or misaligned deck boards - Wire decks “Point loadedâ€ÂÂ)
All Rack Feet bolted to concrete base
Crossbeams
<i>Crossbeams are to be replaced under the following conditions
If the beam is bent one inch or more either vertically or horizontally
If the beam is split, cut or torn
If any welds are cracked
Uprights
<font color=red>Uprights are to be replaced or repaired under the following conditions
<font color=red>If the front vertical leg is bent more than 1†below 36†repair using UNARCO (repair) kit
If the upright is bent more than one inch horizontally either side to side or front to back 36†or higher. Create Follow-up WOs on any discrepancies identified
If the upright does not have a bend or crease in the upright post, the upright may be straightened
If the metal is split, cut or torn. Create Follow-up WOs on any discrepancies identified
If both the front and back post are bent more than one inch or if there is a bend or crease present. Create Follow-up WOs on any discrepancies identified
If the rear vertical leg of the upright is bent more than 1 inch
