Daikin Roofpak Heating and Cooling RCS015D to 140D: Monthly Maintenance

This monthly procedure is for your equipment's control box, cooling circuits and periodic water rinse. The complete steps on how to check the unit has been given so you can check your unit thoroughly.

    Preparation

    Control Box

Once a month, open the control box and verify that no moisture or debris is accumulating in the unit.

    Cooling circuits

The steps below are necessary only if the unit has been started.

    Periodic Clean Water Rinse

A monthly clean water rinse is recommended for coils that are applied in coastal or industrial environments to help to remove chlorides, dirt and debris. An elevated water temperature (not to exceed 130ºF) will reduce surface tension, increasing the ability to remove chlorides and dirt. Pressure washer PSI must not exceed 900 psig and the nozzel should remain at leat 1 foot from the coil to avoid damaging fin edges.
