Mini Split Indoor Unit Preventive Maintenance

supplies

• bucket

• ladder

• coil clean in sprayer

• evap fresh in sprayer

• brushes

• backpack sprayer

• flashlight to check squirrel cage

• flathead/ pick to remove air dams

• wash bag for cooling head

indoor head pm

• turn unit off, pull mesh filters and air dams as needed.

• install wash bag over head.

• clean filters and dams as needed, let dry.

• spray coils with coil clean and let sit.

• check blower fan and clean with water or light evap fresh if moldy. Get all big bust globs or blower with wobble.

• spray coil with water to rinse coil clean.

• spray coil with evap fresh to freshen coils and clean bacteria.

• remove wash bag, reinstall filters and air dams. wipe unit and walls as needed.

• go to roof for outside coil pm.
