Are rungs, cleats or steps intact and free from damage?
Are rails free from cracks or splitting?
Is the ladder free from accumulation of oil, grease or other or other material that may create a slipping hazard?
Is the ladder free from protruding objects that could cause injury?
If the ladder is equipped with safety device, is the device secured and operating properly on the ladder?
If the ladder is equipped with a locking device, is it intact and functional?
Is the ladder free from any other defects that may impair it's safe usage?
All ladders are to be clearly identified, stored properly when not in use and tagged DO NOT USE should a defect be present.
