This monthly maintenance includes cleaning and inspection of your air compressor to ensure proper working condition and prolong life span of your machine.

Inspect labeling and perform LOTO.

Inspections
Inspect equipment for air leak
Inspect equipment for oil leak
Inspect water has been drained from separator
Inspect oil level to be within site glass perameters
Inspect discharge air temperature for excessive heat. This temperature should not be above 225 degrees
Inspect shaft seal for oil leakage
For belt driven equipment: inspect sheeve grooves (Use sheeve drop in gauge) and V-belts for proper tension, alignment (use straight edge), and excessive wear.
For direct drive equipment: inspect coupler condition.
Inspect equipment for loose or missing hardware.
Service Procedure
Check pressure gauge reading, and log found pressure.
Check pressure gauge reading and log reading date
Inspect air filter for dirt, remove and blow out or replace
