Routine inspection of your air conditioner can increase energy efficiency, which results in reduced energy bills. Above all, routine inspection not only resolves existing HVAC problems, but also caters to potential problems that can lead to bigger issues if not treated in time.

Complete all monthy inspections

Inspect both the main unit control panel and heat section control box for loose electrical components and terminal connections. Make any repairs necessary.

Lubricate the supply and optional exhaust air fan bearings with a lithium based grease

Check the setscrews to ensure that the shaft is held securely and that all bearing braces are tight

SFHDS only; Open main gas valve and apply power to the unit heating section, then initiate furnace operation

Verify that the ignition system operates properly

If cleaning becomes necessary, remove the access panels located on the front of the heat exchanger. use a wire brush to clean the burner casing and replace existing gaskets with new ones before reinstalling the burner
