Annual IR Camera Calibration Check
Regular calibrations ensure the accuracy of temperature measurements, enhancing the camera's precision in identifying potential issues such as electrical faults or equipment overheating.

All hazardous energy has been isolated using LOTO procedures?
All potential stored or residual energy has been relieved, disconnected, restrained, lowered, and/or otherwise rendered safe?
Measure the average temperature across the surface of the Ice water bath. Record temp in comment section
If the measured temperature is within +/- 5 degrees to 32 degrees F then your camera calibration should be within the published specification. Refer to the datasheet to find your camera's measurement accuracy. If the camera is outside of the above parameters it must be sent to an authorized lab for recalibration certification.
Measure the average temperature across the surface of the boiling water bath. Record temp in comment section
If the measured temperature is within +/- 5 degrees to 212 degrees F then your camera calibration should be within the published specification. Higher altitude locations may have to adjust the boiling temperature. Refer to the datasheet to find your camera's measurement accuracy. If the camera is outside of the above parameters it must be sent to an authorized lab for recalibration certification.
