The semi-annual maintenance procedure is for checking and replacing your equipment's R7/R8 enclosure exhaust air filter. If installed in an appropriate environment, the drive requires very little maintenance. This procedure lists the routine maintenance intervals recommended by Daikin.

    Periodic Service and Maintenance

    Check all moving parts for wear every six months.

    The Rebel unit is equipped with a direct drive,variable speed fan/motor combination. When equipped, the exhaust fan will be the same. There are no belts or pulleys to maintain. The bearing are permanently sealed and do not require periodic greasing.
