Pump Cart Maintenance

FLUSHING PUMP CART & CYLINDERS

• Before removing plug - make sure to FIRST place pan under Pump Cart to catch draining fluid

• Remove ALL the old hydraulic fluid from the pump cart using the 3/8 Ratchet wrench (the Plug is on the lower frame under the Engine Pull Start )

• Remove the hydraulic fluid reservoir cover using the 1/2" wrench.

• Use rag or shop fresh shop towel and Shop-Vac to ensure all the hydraulic fluid and debris has been removed from inside of the reservoir

• Remove the inner filter

• Replace the inner filter with a new one

LAY CYLINDERS ON FLAT CLEARN SURFACE

• Manifold them together including the pump cart.

• Get a container to hold fluid being cleaned out

• Remove the fitting off the end of your LAST pressure hose. (so the contaminated fluid will flow out of the cylinder hoses into a container

• Pour new hydraulic fluid into the Reservoir. Be sure NOT to fill reservoir up completely but to keep fluid low.

• Using your spool valve, extend and retract your cylinders several times until you have clean fluid flow coming out of the open ended hose.

• Replace coupler

• AFTER hydraulic components have been flushed and pump cart is very low on fluid, replace the LARGE outer filter and O-Ring

FILING HYDRAULIC RESERVOICE

• BEFORE filing hydraulic reservoir, make sure to: Clean old sealant off of reservoir tank and lid.

• Making Sure NOT to LET ANY DEBRIS FALL INTO TANK

• Make sure you use a tube of silicone - to put around the edges of lid and tank then:

• Replace the reservoir cover
