Gather all necessary materials before starting the inspection.
Materials Checklist
Review the checklist to understand inspection points.
Note the location of each drain on the checklist.
Shine the flashlight into each drain to inspect for water in the trap.A closer look can provide insight with smells of sewer gas. If you smell it, likely it’s dry.
Remove the drain cover and inspect for blockages or debris.
Check the condition of the drain cover and replace if damaged.
Upload photos of any significant issues for documentation.

Recheck the drain after a few minutes to ensure the water is still in the trap.
Flag any drains with repeated issues for a more thorough inspection.
