Conveyor Entrance

• Check spacing on slide shaft to see if chain needs to be shortened

• Grease and inspect roller up bearings both sides

• Check air cylinder is secure, (if not tighten) Spray rod with spray lubricant. (no Grease)

• Check for any leaks in airlines, or cracks on conveyor

• Grease and inspect PS & DS Log chain take up drum bearings. (grease zerts are located on surface as in picture)

• Grease slide tubes until full, PS & DS this may require several pumps of grease

Front end of conveyor

• Pass
• Flag
• Fail

Exit side of conveyor.

• Visual check around gear box, sprocket, and exit flap make sure no hydraulic leak or trash

• Visual inspection of sprocket (if it looks worn flag in the inspection)

• Grease and inspect Flange bearings for soft drop (See picture DS & PS)

Conveyor Concerns

Set 1

• Check hydraulic motor and all connections for leaks (in red)

• Visually inspect wrap/ cloth for any damage or debris

• Check set screws (Green Lines)

• Grease Bearings (Yellow Circle)

• Grease pillow block bearings D/S and P/S (Red circle first picture)

• Inspect all nuts and bolts on knuckles and couplers.

• Inspect shocks, Turn off air to watch them extend.

• Inspect air cylinder for leaks, spray rod with spray lubricant (no grease)

• Check clevis pin with spacers, ensure not bent or broken.

• If anything doe not look correct or if problems noted flag for inspection and make note

BMW Set 1

DCW Top Brush

• Visually inspect wrap/ cloth for any damage or debris (6th Picture)

• Grease top brush 20 points in total (see pictures be sure to hit DS& PS)

• Check set screws and bearings for wear& placement ( see pictures)

• Spray DS/ PS air cylinder with lubricant, check for leaks (5th Picture)

• Inspect knuckle joints for excessive movement or play (4th Picture)

• Watch Top brush go up and down, should be smooth. Watch several cars and truck note if brush is slow or aggressive

DCW Top Brush

Top brush Concerns/ Notes

Bison Brush

• Grease bearings on each side of brush, Inspect coupler for wear and the motor mounts DS & PS. (Picture 1)

• Check for any hydraulic leaks from motor or lines DS/ PS

• Grease and inspect 2 upper and 2 lower support bearings attached to the arch DS & PS (2nd Picture)

• Inspect bearing plate and shaft for wear and or movement (4 in total). (3rd Picture)

• Check air cylinder for leaks, spray lubricant (4th Picture)

• Extend brush and let retract note if to fast or aggressive.
