Grubbing operations have removed all tree stumps and roots.
Survey staking is adequate for the job.
Excavation and embankment clearances are adequate for construction activities.
Any unusual soil conditions.
Foundation is suitable prior to placing embankment.
Embankment has been well constructed and compacted as specified.
Contractor does not unnecessarily over-excavate the subgrade and remind them to protect it from damage during construction activity.
Drainage is continuously provided and the sub-grade is sealed when rain is forecast.
Contractor is implementing and monitoring all required erosion control measures. This may include appropriate dust control measures.
