The goal of this vehicle inspection checklist is to identify any mechanical issues or other problems that could cause accidents or downtime before they become issues.

    Lights

    Inspect and check one:

    Head

    Parking

    Tail

    Directional

    Back-Up

    High Beam

    Tires

    Inspect and check one

    Front Left

    Front Right

    Rear Right

    Rear Left

    Spare

    Under hood

    Check for brake master cylinder leaks. If unusual conditions, explain:

    Check Brake Fluid

    Engine oil

    Mileage of last oil and filter change

    Windshield washer fluid

    Transmission fluid

    Power steering fluid

    Exterior

    Glass, overall condition

    Interior

    Flash light

    Horn working

    Safety belts

    Windshield wipers

    Accident report kit

    Jack and lug wrench

    Reflectors
