Regular inspections and maintenance should be scheduled. Flatwork Folders should be emptied and broken down to remove the buildup of dust and feed grime inside and outside to prolong use and efficiency.

All hazardous energy has been isolated using LOTO procedures?
All potential stored or residual energy has been relieved, disconnected, restrained, lowered, and/or otherwise rendered safe?
General Inspection
Observe machine running, watch and listen for abnormal conditions
Ensure first crossfold blade and second crossfold air cylinders are operating properly and not hitting to hard
Lock Out Tag Out
LOTO Performed
De-energized cleaning and lubrication
Use compressed air to clean exterior of machine then wipe down with degreaser
Vacuum / Blowout inside control panels including VFD's and cooling fans
Check setscrews and drive belts
Grease bearings
Clean air filter/auto drain
Return Machine to normal operation
Remove LOTO, start machine and ensure proper operation
