How to check pressure

• Turn off machine.

• Remove Plastic Cap from accumulator.

• Remove met cap from accumulator (There is an o-ring inside, keep it with the cap).

• On the pressure gauge, confirm the main tap is up (loosen to recess pin), the pin inside must be recessed.

• On the pressure gauge, confirm the bleed tap is closed.

• Install the gauge onto the accumulator.

• Slow turn the main tap inward (to push down the pin), the gauge will start moving once the pin has made contact with the valve.

• Read the pressure on the gauge.

• Once the pressure has been noted, loosen the main tap (the pin must retract into the gauge).

• Slowly open the bleed tap and allow for the excess (very little) nitrogen to escape to atmosphere. The gauge must read 0 before continuing.

• Remove the gauge from the accumulator.

• Install the O-Ring and metal cap onto the accumulator

• Install the plastic cover over the metal nut, onto the accumulator

Filling Up Accumulator (Topping-Up)

• Complete the "How to check pressure" procedure and have the recorded pressure near by.

• Confirm machine is off.

• Look in diagrams of machine for Pre-Charge pressure.

• Remove met cap from accumulator (There is an o-ring inside, keep it with the cap).

• On the pressure gauge, confirm the main tap is up (loosen to recess pin), the pin inside must be recessed.

• On the pressure gauge, confirm the bleed tap is closed.

• Install the gauge onto the accumulator.

• Confirm tap on filling kit is turned in.

• Install filling kit onto Nitrogen tank.

• Install pipe from filling kit to accumulator.

• On the Nitrogen tank slowly open the main tap, you should see the gauge on the filling kit rise.

• On the filling kit, turn in the tap to allow pressure towards the accumulator.

• On the accumulator, slowly open the main tap.

• You should start to see the pressure gauge on the accumulator rise.

• Stop opening the tap once the "Pre-Charge pressure" has been reached.

• Wait for the vibrations in the pipe and pressure gauge to stop (vibrations = accumulator still being filled).

• Once filled, open tap (loosen) on the accumulator.

• Close the Main Tap on the nitrogen tank.

• Turn out the fill tap

• Slowly loosen the bleed tap. (some gas will escape).

• Tighten the bleed tap after gas has escaped.

• Loosen the hose from the tank.

• Turn in Main tap on accumulator (To check pressure again).

• If pressure is too high, bleed some Nitrogen out.

• If pressure is ok, Turn out (loosen) the main tap on accumulator.

• Open bleed valve to release the small amount of built up pressure.

• Remove the pressure gauge from the accumulator.

• Install back the o-ring, metal cap and plastic cap onto accumulator.
