    Gantry alignment

    1) In order to release the brake on the master gripper, connect 24 VDC from the power supply located in the electrical panel to the brake plug X1 (BR +-) at N111 unit ( SINAMICS S120), using two wires cable and make sure you plug the + of the 24 VDC with BR(+ )and - with BR(-) 2) Move the master gripper until matching pr almost with the slave gripper ( you can not be precise just with your eyes , but at least try to make them facing each other) 3) Enter Homag service logins and go to service to change the value of the master gripper encoder value to whatever the slave gripper encoder value is (to erase that huge discrepancy and allow the further steps) 4) Put the bar back again, you have to match the holes on the adapter 5) Switch the machine off and take out the cable you used to release the brake and switch on again and close the electrical cabinet ( we need the both of the brakes operational for the coming steps) 6) Put the X=0 yellow bars, and send the machine to X=100 ( reduce the speed and monitor the movement to avoid any crush) 7) Assess if the belts on both sides are tensioned similarly 8) Once arrived at X=100, use a metric measurement ruler or tape to see if it is corresponding to X=100 9) Basically the value will not be corresponding because of that event, so adjust the encoders values to make it match to X=100 10) Finally take out the yellow bars and start processing the walls to see if the grippers plates are matching the stoppers ( flush )

    Inspection

Once finished the intervention, inspect the area ( for remaining tools or whatever left or not cleaned that can provoke a safety hazard or can cause machine further damage) 1-Verify all the parts/tools are packed and nothing is left making obstruction 2-No substances should be left on the floor or area of work ( oil, grease must be cleaned ) 3-All wires used should unplugged
