Inspect Air Filters: Check and replace air filters if necessary. Dirty filters reduce airflow and decrease system efficiency.
Check Thermostat Operation: Test thermostat calibration and accuracy. Ensure it's properly controlling the temperature.
Inspect Electrical Components: Inspect electrical connections for tightness and signs of wear. Check voltage and current on motors. Inspect and tighten any loose electrical connections.
Inspect Belts and Pulleys: Check belts for wear, tension, and alignment. Inspect pulleys for alignment and wear.
Inspect Condensate Drain: Check condensate drain lines for clogs or blockages. Clear any obstructions to prevent water damage.
Inspect and Clean Coils: Clean evaporator and condenser coils to maintain efficient heat transfer. Remove any debris or buildup on the coils.
Check Refrigerant Levels: Measure refrigerant levels and adjust if necessary. Inspect for any leaks in the system.
Inspect Ductwork: Check ductwork for leaks, damage, or insulation problems. Seal any leaks to improve system efficiency.
Inspect Fan Blades: Check fan blades for balance, wear, and damage. Clean fan blades and motor housing if necessary.
Inspect and Lubricate Moving Parts: Lubricate bearings and other moving parts to reduce friction and wear.
