BATTERIES & CHARGER

• Don’t charge or service the batteries unless you are trained and authorized. See the Service Manual for instructions.

• Charge batteries in areas designated for that use. Do not expose the vehicle to moisture or snow while charging. Don’t try to charge a frozen battery.

• Wear protective eyewear, gloves and clothing when servicing the batteries.

TO CHARGE THE BATTERIES

• Turn the vehicle off or push the Emergency Disconnect button.

• Use an extension cord less than 25 ft. long with a wire size of 16 AWG or heavier.

• Plug one end of the extension cord into the charging socket on the service panel.

• Plug the other end of the extension cord, or the optional retractable cord, into a 120 volt AC outlet.

• Check the charging display on the service panel.
