Hook Inspection
Hook is in good condition and show no sign of cracks?
Hook is in good condition and show no sign of elongation or deformation?
Is retainer spring present?
Does retainer spring function properly?
Controls
Is there adequate support against strain?
Are identification/labels clearly present?
Are Warner Labels/decals clearly present?
Is the General condition good?
Chain
Chain is in good condition and has adequate lubrication?
Chain is in good condition and shows no signs of wear and tear?
Is the chain excessively stretched?
Wire Rope
Wire rope is in good condition and shows no sign of distortion?
Wire rope is in good condition and shows no sign of corrosion?
Wire rope is in good condition and shows no sign of broken wires or cuts?
Wire rope is in good condition and shows no sign of reeving?
Structure
Is the load rating properly marked?
Is the load indicator over its full range?
General structure is in good condition with no signs of defects, cracks, or welds.
Is the air system working properly?
Is the hydraulic system working properly?
Bridge
Bridge is in good condition and shows no signs of wear or defects?
Trolley
Trolley is in good condition and shows no signs of wear or defects?
Hoist
Hoist is in good condition and shows no signs of wear or defects?
Electrical Apparatus
Are there signs of pitting or any deterioration of controller contactors?
Are there signs of pitting or any deterioration of limit switches?
Are there signs of pitting or any deterioration of pushbutton stations?
Pins, Bearings, Shafts, Gears, Rollers, Locking and Clamping Devices
Are these parts worn, cracked or distorted? (If yes, indicate which in the comments)
