Check engine, coolant and hydraulic fluid levels & Leaks

Check for broken and/or dirty glass
Check all functions for smooth operations
Drive – forward/reverse
Steer – left/right
Front bucket controls
Bucket/Boom/Dipper/Attachment
Check transmission for smooth operation
Check brakes
Inspect Hoses/Lines/Fittings
Check that all safety devices and guards in place and functional
Inspect bolts, welds and pins for proper function
Inspect rollover protective structure
Inspect seat belt (must be worn)
Check tires for condition, inflation and missing valve caps
Inspect all lights, gauges, horn and alarms
Inspect fire extinguisher (gauge is in green)
Spill kit is present and stocked
Operations manual is present
Data plate is present and legible
Comments/Notes:
Report any problems found to your supervisor. ALWAYS lock/tag-out unsafe equipment.
