Inspection List

• Inspect refrigerator for signs of broken drawers, shelves, or interior components.

• Inspect the refrigerator handles for tightness. Inspect ice or water dispensers for proper operation.

• Inspect the coils behind the fridge and clean them out as well as the floor under and space around the fridge.

• Inspect the stove for any signs of wear or damage. Turn on all burners and oven to insure proper operation.

• Lift the top on the stove and inspect for any sign of burnt or damaged components. Make sure this area is cleaned and in good repair.

• Inspect all plumbing connections to the dishwasher for any leaks and or damage.

• Visually inspect the internal components of the dishwasher for any sign of wear or damage.

• Ensure the drain and catch basin at the bottom of the dishwasher is clean and free of obstructions. Run a short test cycle and make sure it is heating properly and the door is not leaking.

• Visally inspect the microwave for any signs of damage or wear both externally and internally. If unit is a microhood, also check that lights are in good repair, the vent is operational, the blower is working properly, and replace filters.

• Check that all drawers are operational and in good repair. Check that handles are tight, present, and in good repair.

• Check that all cabinet doors are in good repair. Inspect that all handles are tight and in good repair. Inspect all hinges for damage and tighten as necessary.

• Check all shelves in cabinets to ensure they are in good repair and that any hardware provided is in good repair.

• Check all child safety hardware to ensure it is installed properly and in working order.

• Inspect countertops for any sign of damage, caulk that may need to be redone, and to ensure they are not coming loose.

• Check kitchen thoroughly including both under and behind range, inside the cabinets, around the floor for any sign of pests that may need attention.

• Inspect under the sink for any sign of leaks or damage that may need attention.
