Pressure Steam Cooker Periodic Cleaning

You need periodic software upgrades and system cleanings to keep it working. Pressure cookers require proper cleaning every now and then also.

after 8 hours' use: boiler must be drained under pressure (blowdown). See manual for instructions.

Daily: At the end of each day, remove spilled food from inside compartments, wash the pan sides, drain screens, door gaskets, and compartment interiors with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.

Daily: turn power off, cool, then clean all exterior surfaces, do not allow water to run into electrical controls.

Daily: Clean bar handle screws, lubricate lightly as needed.

Weekly: Clean drain line with USDA approved drain cleaner.

As needed: Replace door gaskets when worn and use the steamer immediately after installing to set the gasket properly.
