BOBST Daily Mechanic Task List

The aim is to ensure the consistent, safe, and reliable operation of BOBST machinery through routine daily inspections and maintenance activities. It helps mechanics identify early signs of wear, faults, or abnormal conditions, allowing issues to be addressed promptly before they lead to breakdowns or production downtime.

White Boards-Review noted deficiencies with Press Operators

Address issue during downtime and set-ups

Prioritize issues with supervision for repair scheduling

Visually inspect water filters to ensure flow, change as needed

Check chamber air pressure not to exceed 3.5 Bar

Ensure 4 chambers are rebuilt as spares

Check operation of ink pumps, wash down, and viscosity meters

Ensure hoses are tight, replace Cam-lock gaskets are good

Maintain spare parts inventory for chambers

Maintain 5 of each 297 and 298 guards

SLEEVE CARTS. Check foam backing on sleeve carts. If backing is damaged or missing, replace ASAP.
