CNC - Rebuild dorman clamp cylinder

This task involves disassembling the cylinder, inspecting components for wear or damage, replacing any worn parts, reassembling the cylinder, and testing it to ensure proper functioning.

    Remove the clamp from shaft by loosening (2) bolts

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Remove (4) button head and remove cover

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Remove shaft from fixture without damaging it

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Note the rotational orientation of pin on shaft

    Replace the (2) o-rings

    Reinstall shaft into fixture aligning rotation for cover

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Reinstall cover and the 4 bolts

    • Pass
    • Flag
    • Fail

    Reinstall clamp in the correct rotation for clamping
