The main aim of an operation and maintenance manual is to standardize technical processes in a company to improve their quality. Apart from that, it contains best practices and safety guidelines.
General Inspection
Inspect the exterior for any visible damage or wear
Check for any fluid leaks under the vehicle
Inspect the tires for proper inflation and tread wear
Check all lights (headlights, brake lights, turn signals) for proper operation
Engine Compartment
Check engine oil level and top up if necessary
Inspect the battery terminals for corrosion and clean if needed
Check coolant level and top up if necessary
Inspect the belts and hoses for any signs of wear or damage
Interior Inspection
Check the operation of the horn
Inspect the condition of the seat belts
Test the operation of the windshield wipers and washer fluid
Check the air conditioning and heating system for proper operation
Under Vehicle Inspection
Inspect the exhaust system for any signs of damage or leaks
Check the suspension components for wear or damage
Inspect the brake lines and hoses for any signs of wear or leaks
Documentation
Document any issues found during the inspection
Upload photos of any damage or issues found
