Energy Control Program
Perform LOTO in accordance with the LOTO Risk Assessment
Check jaw safety function is operating properly.
Wipe seal bar surfaces to remove any build up.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVES OR CHEMICALS, Use only a soft cloth.
Check air regulator pressure.
80 PSI at regulator, 40 PSI at seal bar regulator
Check seal quality and strength.
Check for air leaks around valves and cylinders.
Remove top jaw cover plate and clean the jaw.
Check the heater cable connection is tight.
Check silicon gripper material for damage, replace as needed.
Check Teflon tape for signs of wear, replace as needed.
Grease linear carrier block linear ball bearings with light weight grease.
Make sure ALL guards are in place.
