    Building trust is a must when carrying out daily activities as a Security Officer. You must exercise good and ethical behavior when performing your duties. To be ethical is to be able to choose right from wrong and make the right decisions. Never do anything considered negligent or careless that could endanger the life or safety of another person or jeopardize your own safety.     Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination that violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Title VII applies to employers with 15 or more employees. Sexual harassment can be unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that explicitly affects an individual's employment.     Documenting Observations and Reporting

    Nothing any observation you make is very important. It will allow you to quickly and easily recollect any vital facts that you have noticed. When recording your observations, ensure that you only put facts and methodically order them. Do not reflect any assumptions in your notes, so anyone that reads them will get access to only the facts. Avoid any assumptions in your notes because it can lead to a bias. Reports that offer adequate details of events, routines, and incidents provide insight and information regarding potential hazards or weaknesses. Reviewing these reports allows for honest reflection on protocol, policy and procedure. Which is crucial to preempting or preempting unsafe situations.
