Lubricate Miter Bearing

• Move the arbor until it's at the edge of the table

• E-stop the machine

• Apply one pump of Lithium EP2 grease

• Return the machine to operational status

Lubricate Jet Rise & Fall Bearings

• Using the pendant, move the arm to a position that allows easy access to the jet rise and fall bearing

• E-Stop the machine

• Apply one pump of Lithium EP2 Grease to the bearing

X Axis - Clean, Inspect, Lubricate

• Move the arm to the center of the base

• remove thumb screws and pull back bellows

• Use rags and degreaser to remove all oil and grease from rails, racks and mounting surface.

• Inspect rails. Ensure they are free of any defects or sharp edges

• Inspect racks. Ensure there are no broken or missing teeth

• Apply thin layer of way oil to rails and spray racks with light cover of chain wax

• Secure bellows

Y Axis - Clean, Inspect, Lubricate

• Center the head on the arm

• Remove the thumb screws and pull back the bellow

• Use rags and degreaser to remove all oil and grease from rails, racks, and mounting surface.

• Inspect rails. Ensure they are free of any defects and sharp edges.

• Inspect racks. Ensure there are no broken or missing teeth.

• Apply thin layer of way oil to rails and spray racks with light cover of chain wax

• Secure bellows

Z Axis - Clean, Inspect, Lubricate

• Raise the arm fully +Z.

• Remove the thumb screws and lower the bellow

• Use rags and degreaser to remove all oil and grease from rails, racks, and mounting surface.

• Inspect rails. Ensure they are free of any defects and sharp edges.

• Inspect racks. Ensure there are no broken or missing teeth.

• Apply thin layer of way oil to rails and spray racks with light cover of chain wax

• Secure bellows

Axis 1 - Clean, Inspect, Lubricate

• Move to table 1

• Push the e-stop

• Remove the thumb screws and pull back the bellows

• Use rags and degreaser to remove all oil and grease from rails, racks, and mounting surface.

• Inspect rails. Ensure they are free of any defects and sharp edges.

• Inspect racks. Ensure there are no broken or missing teeth.

• Apply thin layer of way oil to rails and spray racks with light cover of chain wax

• Secure bellows

• repeat for opposite side

Inspect Water Filters

• Ensure water pump is OFF

• Use filter wrench to loosen filter housing

• Inspect filters. Replace as needed

• Replace filter housing and tighten with filter wrench

• Turn ON pump

• Place pump in cooling mode

• remove excess air by pressing purge valves

• Ensure prefilter and post filter water pressure difference is lower than 10 psi

Pressurized Grease Reservoir

• Clean inlet grease zerk

• Fill to 2/3 full
