    Procedure

    Lower upper platens.

    Turn off grill.

    Inspect upper platen grommets and gaskets

    Remove and clean grill filters.

    Chemicals: McD APSC

    Remove grill tool organizer.

    Empty hood grease container.

    Clean grease pans.

    Turn off heater power switches and disconnect gas.

    Loosen and lower grill locks.

    Avoid running over the grill power cord with the grill.

    Clean back of upper platen.

    Disconnect power and turn off circuit breaker.

    Do not disconnect the power cord by pulling on the cord. Grasp the plug body and remove it from the outlet.

    Disconnect power and turn off circuit breaker.

    Cover floor electrical outlets.

    Water or debris in an outlet could result in a short circuit or an electrical shock.

    Scrape area behind grill and rear of grill.

    Do not damage the fire protection fusible link in the lower center area of the stack. If it is damaged, the automatic fire extinguishing system will be activated.

    Clean up residue.

    Wipe and dry all areas

    Ask manager to inspect

    Wash grill legs and wheels.

    Mop floor area around grill.

    Allow surfaces to dry.

    Discard trash can liners.

    Inspect the outlets to make sure they are dry and free of debris.

    Reinstall grill filters.

    Roll grill back into position

    Move the grill power cord out of the way so you don’t run over it as you move the grill into position

    Reinstall remaining grill parts.
