Start-up Checklist

• Turn on all Lights.

• Check proof room temperature. Should be 80-88 degrees.

• Check that mixers do not leave proof room doors open.

• Check lamination room temperature. Should be 70 degrees. Turn on heater or A.C. units as necessary.

Lamination.

• Verify correct dies are on for product being run.

• Verify correct program is loaded in line 2 for product being run.

• Verify sheeter and finish roll adjustments have been made on line 2.

• Verify line 1 setting are correct for product being run.

Ovens.

• Verify ovens/post conditioners are on and programs are set for product being produced.

• Verify all conveyors are on and tracking correctly.

• Verify all belt cooling fans are on and adjusted correctly.

Baggers

• Verify correct film is on machine for product being run.

• Verify proper program is loaded in machine for product being run.

• Verify all machines make good sealed bags with label registered properly.

• Verify scale program is correct for product being run.

• Verify scale is zeroed.

• Verify fingers on scale are set according to product being run.

• Verify all buckets on scales are mounted properly.

• If running squares on 7/8 verify timing hopper doors are disconnected and tied open.

• Verify whiz lifter and all necessary conveyors are running.

• Verify plug is mounted correctly on sandi acre hopper.

Square and oyster line case fill scale areas.

• Verify scales have the correct program loaded for product being run that day.

• Verify all conveyors are on.

• Verify box transfer equipment is set up properly.

• Verify case formers are set up for cartons being run.

• Verify case tapers are set up properly.

• Verify printers are on and set up for product being produced.

• Verify warehouse conveyor is on.

Doboy area.

• Verify shaker table is on and adjusted for the product being run that day.

• Verify all infeed conveyors are on and set to load.

• Verify prefills are turned on for shaker table feed.

• Verify machines are turned on and heaters are working.

• Verify gate on incline conveyor is in proper position for product being produced that day.

• Verify all product transfer conveyors are on.

• Verify bucket elevator is on.

Enonopacker area

• Verify glue is turned on.

• Verify all product transfer equipment is on an set up properly.

• Verify case printer is on and set up for product being run.

• Verify taper is set up properly.

• Verify BOX printer is on and set for product being run.
