Exhaust Fan Preventive Maintenance
A comprehensive exhaust fan preventive maintenance checklist should include regular cleaning, inspection of blades, motor, belts (if applicable), and electrical components, along with lubrication of bearings and checking for proper ventilation and airflow.
Check for any exterior fan or curb for damage, corrosion, deterioration, or leak
Verify primary voltage
Check motor amp draw
Inspect wiring and tighten all electrical connections
Adjust,align,tighten sheaves and belts. Replace belts.
Check bear wear and lubrication
Verify blower wheel/fans are clean and balanced
Check all shaft set screws for tightness.
Check Louvers and dampners for cleanliness and smooth operation.
Check vibration insolators to ensure they are not deteriorated
Sign off on the exhaust fan PM
