Quincy Air Compressor Annual PM

Disconnect and Lock Out Main Power switch.

Close and Lock Out Main Air Valve to Plant

Open manual vent valve and wait for the system pressure to be completely relieved.

Wait for temperature to drop to ambient room temperature

Clean up any fluid to prevent slippage.

Loosen, but do not remove flange or component bolts. Carefully pry apart to be sure there is no residual pressure before removing bolts

Never use flammable solvents such as gasoline or kerosene for cleaning

Drain open 1/4 turn valve located at the bottom of Separator reservoir tank and drain fluid.

Disconnect any pipe or hose connections from Separator tank cover, remove bolts and cover.

Remove and inspect old separator for any metallic residual.

discard old separator .

Do not remove the staple from separator element. Their function is to prevent an electrostatic build-up which could cause spark and fire.

Locate a ohm meter and verify zero ohms when leads are touched.

Contact the grounding staple on the separator element gasket with the negative probe of meter.

Contact the top cap of the separator element with the positive probe. the meter should indicate less than 20 ohms. Resistance < 20Ω

Make sure compressor is Bonded to Earth Ground to dissipatte Electricity.

Clean inside of separator tank with nonflammable solvent.

Install new separator element and re install cover, install cover and tighten bolts.

Connect all hoses and tubing to separator cover.

Close Drain valve and cap with plug.

Remove fluid filter # 2013400282

Using Fluid # apply a coating of fluid to new filter gasket

Install new fluid filter # 2013400828, hand tighten + 1/8 TURN.

Unlatch intake air filter canister, remove and discard old air filter.

Install new air filter Quincy # 146397-08 and reinstall canister.

Fill Separator tank with 5 Gallons of 1627456964 Quinsyn Fluid.

Clean up the compressor area

CLOSE RELIEF VALVE

REMOVE MAI AIR VALVE LOCK OUT AND OPEN VALVE

REMOVE MAIN ELECTRICAL SWITCH LOCK OUT AND TURN ON POWER

START UP COMPRESSOR

IS COMPRESSOR LEAKING FLUID.

INSATLLING NEW SEPARATOR.

IF SEPARATOR FAILED DOCUMENT AND RETURN TO QUINCY.

Make sure compressor is Bonded to Earth Ground to dissipatte Electricity.

Install new separator element and re install cover, install cover and tighten bolts.

Connect all hoses and tubing to separator cover.

Close Drain valve and cap with plug.

FILTER CHANGE

Remove fluid filter # 2013400282

Using Fluid # apply a coating of fluid to new filter gasket

Install new fluid filter # 2013400828, hand tighten + 1/8 TURN.

Unlatch intake air filter canister, remove and discard old air filter.

Install new air filter Quincy # 146397-08 and reinstall canister.

Fill Separator tank with 5 Gallons of 1627456964 Quinsyn Fluid.

Clean up the compressor area
