Washsmart PM - Weekly

Grease Points Checklist

• Infeed Conveyor. 2 points located at the end of the infeed conveyor at the base near the drive motor. Lube the chain as well.

• Pick and Place. Clean and grease both guide shafts.

• Tray Transfer Rails. Clean and grease front and rear tray transfer rails.

• Key and Liner. Clean and grease 6 points on the key and liner inserter assembly guid rails

• Opener Head Tipper. 2 points on the lower right hand side of the opener head tipper.

• Base of Liner Assembly. 6 points total, 1 point at the base of each liner and key assemblies.

• Tray Transfer. 2 points on the front, and 2 points on the rear tray transfer assemblies.

• Outfeed Opener Head Conveyor. 4 points at the end of the outfeed conveyor, at the bump conveyor.

• Washer Pawl Driveshaft. 3 points on the washer pawl drive shaft, located behind the panel below the third washer door.

• Pawl Chain Drive. Ensure chain drive is cleaned and greased. It's located at the back near the smartguard.

• Tray Lift. 4 points at tray lift bearings in dryer.

• Outfeed Dryer Conveyor. 3 points on the output conveyor.

Infeed Conveyor Checklist

• Clean the front face of the S.I.C.K. (bar-code reader) sensor with a lint free cloth. Check for any damage at the lens.

• Check if the guides on the Weightsmart is properly aligned with the infeed conveyor and the bins transfer smoothly on the conveyor. Check for any signs of wear and tear.

• Check if the marshalling arms on the Weightsmart are secure and operating freely and properly.

• Check tension of both belts (Green Poly Cords). The deflection of the belts should be around 2 or 3 inch in the middle.

• Make sure the green Teflon guides, where the conveyor belt rides, have no excessive wear especially on top.

• Check for proper operation of the bin detect proximity sensor (P33), at the top of the infeed conveyor. Clean as required.

Pick And Place Checklist

• Inspect and confirm bin separators are straight, and won't damage containers. Check if excessive wear are present on the Teflon blocs.

• Check alignment of the container as it is placed onto the head rails. If it touches on the way in, the infeed conveyor needs to be adjusted left/right.

• Confirm the operation of the claws under the '"Pick & Place" are firm and secure on the container when they closed on it and lift it as well.

• When pick and place drops, check alignment lifting claws to container. Clean and adjust as needed.

• Confirm container aligns correctly when being placed on the head rails. If not, check traverse shockers have not come loose and head rotation is correct.

Opener Head Checklist

• Set air regulator to 6.5 bar, and confirm it maintains a minimum of 6 bar at least while machine is in full operation.

• Clean all suction cups with a rag and warm water, and check for wear and tear.

• Confirm the devac cylinder and arms are located correctly when inserted into the containers.

• Check both side latch (Yellow and Green) for wear, replace if needed.

• Check liner arms insert just before the keys. Check alignment of both liner and key arms as they extend inwards.

• Check if key rotation is not too far, or not far enough. Confirm the lid is opening smoothly.

• Confirm if the shocker of the lid arm is tight and secure. The shocker is located behind the opener under the lid arm.

• Check if the rotation if the liner arms are smooth and secure and stop at the correct spot.

• All travels of each cylinders should be smooth. Check every connection to see if they are tight and signs of air leaks.

• Confirm the 'Air Knife' is holding the liner in place when the head rotate and when the container's inverted.

• Confirm smooth head rotation in both directions when it turn at 180 degrees.

• Confirm the tray transfer does not come in contact with inverter head.

• Confirm if the insertion of the containers in the arms of the stainless steel tray are smooth and accurate. And check if the outfeed conveyor lift smoothly.

Washer Checklist

• Confirm flush, rinse and wash initiate proximity sensor are operating properly, and the plug is tight.

• Confirm the drain under the flusher is not block. The drain is located underneath the flusher drawer. Clean the filter if needed.

• Confirm all washer drive 'pawls' are operating correctly and not sticking.

• Confirm every nozzles in the rinse and wash section are oriented correctly and they are tight as well.

• Check the washer tank filters. Confirm the pump inlet, drain, overflow, and top tank filters have been maintained daily. Clean the filter if needed.

• Confirm the floats are operating properly. The float are located in the wash tank at the back end. Confirm they are moving freely and they don't stick.

• Check the heating element in the wash tank. Inspect for lime build-up on heating elements and if they have any damage apparent.

• Examine the overall integrity of wash and rinse tanks and confirm the absence of any visible leaks.

Dryer Checklist

• Confirm proper operation of tray transfer, and pressure gauge reads 3 - 4.5 bar.

• Inspect conveyor drive belts for alignment and wear.

• Confirm if the nozzle of Smart Guard are exempt of debris and also check if it sprays correctly.

• Confirm smart guard air pressure is 1.3 bar. Tray nozzle 1 - 1.2 bar. Interior air 1.2 bar.

Is the Smart Guard tank needs a deep clean?

Smart Guard Checklist

• Confirm if the nozzle of Smart Guard are exempt of debris and also check if it sprays correctly.

• Confirm smart guard air pressure is 1.3 bar. Tray nozzle 1 - 1.2 bar. Interior air 1.2 bar.

Container Removal Conveyor Checklist

• Check the conveyor and the tray release. Confirm the tray are not jamming in the outfeed conveyor and also the release of the containers are operating correctly.

• Inspect all the wheels on the outfeed of the dryer. They should not stick replace if needed.

• Check the rollers of the indeed conveyor of the opener. Check if the rubber cord are in good condition and nor apparent wear on the rollers.

Upon Inspection, How the Equipment Performed?

If there's a deficiency please 'Flag' this Work Order. If there's a need for a Corrective Action (additional work) to be prompt, please 'Fail' this Work Order. Please add clear notes and pictures of the deficiency.
