Ball Mill Preventive Maintenance
Follow this procedure for the regular inspection of your ball mill machine and all its components to make sure if its proper working condition and prolong its life span.
Blow down assembly for inspection
Obtain confined space
Inspect belts for wear, tears, cracks, splitting, alignment
Check gearbox and motor coupling alignment
Check pinion shaft, bearings, seals for leaks or build up
Check foundation for soundness
Look for bearings, seal, sole plate and gear wear
Inspect feed and discharge trunion liners for wear
Inspect mill liners
Inspect feed and discharge trunion bearings
Ensure all feed, discharge and mill belly bolts are torqued and sealed
Verify guarding, frames and structure for wear, cracks, missing bolts
Run before release to operations
