Verify availability of master cases to complete schedule
Turn on main power
Turn on Nordson glue pot at least 30 min prior to operation
Add company approved glue as needed, ensure glue pellets are clean and dry
Load cartons per schedule, with seam side facing out and down
Verify that Tucker #1 & #2 are aligned in parallel
Verify infeed bucket width of 252-255mm, gate width of 258mm at black marks, and main chain width from minor pushers to major pushers 231mm
Cycle machine without cartons to ensure everything runs smoothly
Run empty box, notify supervision and maintenance of any issues promptly
Set up label machine in correct label orientation to align with carton print
Set up manual glue operation for redundancy
Set up master case printer to print correct product description, SKU, lot code, best buy date, and QR code per schedule. Check ink level, test print
Ensure that all numbered (orange) adjustments have not moved
Home machine and verify that pick arm and feed arm are vertical when stopped. Use level to verify
Verify infeed bucket width of 252-255mm, gate width of 258mm (at black marks), and main chain width from minor pushers to major pushers 231mm. Use a carton for measurement verification
Inspect and tighten bolts, including load carriage, pick arms, feed arm, infeed adjuster, main chain adjuster
Verify standard HMI settings
