Quarterly Straps & Slings

Straps checklist

• Check all straps for wear, rips, and verify they are in safe condition with the appropriate and legible labels.

• Check safety harnesses wear, rips, and verify they are in safe condition with the appropriate and legible labels.

• Inspect lanyards to their full extent for wear and frays, check all clips and swivels for correct mobility with the appropriate and legible labels.

• Mark each Sling/Harness/Lanyard with the appropriate color electrical tape for the corresponding quarter per the chart listed in high bay.

• Inspect straps in bar stock 1-4

• Inspect straps in the compressor room 56-60

• Inspect Harness in the compressor room #3

• Inspect Lanyards in the compressor room 2-5 & 8-11

• Inspect Straps in the high bay 5-55 & 61 (61 in gang box)

• Inspect Lanyards in the high bay #6 & 7 (Scissor lift)

• Inspect Harnesses in the high bay 1 & 2 (Scissor lift)

• Inspect field services Harness #4 and Lanyard #1 in Engineering
