RXU20 TESTHEAD ALIGNMENT

The importance of alignment is that it allows you to make a much stronger case for change right from the beginning. Business and IT alignment leads to more effective performance and use of technology, while a lack of alignment tends to lead to inefficient use of funds, time, and missed goals.

    Preparation for Test Head Alignment

    Check for Alignment

    These adjustments shouldn't need to be made unless something has changed mechanically and the springs should be the first suspect with any issues.

    This is the distance the head will move before the zif starts to clamp. These should not contact the back wall of the connector.

    The zif should not be touching the part pins, it should remain centered.

    The kelvin pins should be centered as shown.

    To adjust the height, 8 screws need to be loosened and there is an adjustment bolt to move the head up and down.
