Otherwise, follow the dimmer replacement procedure.Dimmer ReplacementDisconnect the dimmer wire harness from the rack's power supplies. This connection is commonly done with removable clips, but it might be crimped in.Unplug the dimmer from the wall.Remove any screws and/or rivets that hold the dimmer in place.Remove the dimmer.Install a new dimmer wire harness on a new dimmer. Using the same screws or type of rivets as you removed in the previous step, fasten the dimmer in the same location.Connect the dimmer wire harness to the light power supplies, in the same manner as the old dimmer. Note that if quick connects were used, you should re-apply dielectric grease. Otherwise, if crimping is required, you might need to strip the wires first. For either method, ensure the final connection is weatherproof.Plug the dimmer into the wall outlet.Verify the dimmer is working correctly by, while the lights are powered on, going back and forth between 0% and 100%.Source: Hardware (Community Member)
