Webbing - Check for cuts, burns, holes, excessive soiling, or any other significant deterioration
Shoulder straps
Chest straps
Leg straps
Back straps
Lanyard
Stitching - Check for cut, pulled, or stitching damaged in any significant fashion
Shoulder straps

Back straps
Lanyard (check to ensure lanyard has not been deployed in fall)
Hardware - Check for sharp edges, burns, cracks, bending, or corrosion
