Operators: Must be trained in electrical safety and equipment usage.
Always ensure the device is connected to a properly grounded outlet. Verify that the voltage selector switch on the rear panel matches the local line voltage (110 V or 220 V). Inspect cables for wear before each use. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment when working with electrical equipment.
Operating Procedure
Prepare the Device: - Ensure the power switch is in the "off" position. - Disconnect any load from the output terminals. Turn On: - Push the front-panel power switch to turn on the device. - The display will show the voltage and current for each channel. - Allow the device to warm up for one hour to achieve rated accuracies. Self-Test: - After power-up, the device will run a self-test. - If no errors occur, the display will show voltages and currents for each channel.
Set Voltage: - Select a channel (CH1, CH2, or CH3). - Press the V-Set button, enter the desired voltage using the numeric keys, and press Enter. Set Current: - Press the I-Set button, enter the desired current, and press Enter. Enable Output: - Once voltage and current are set, press Output On/Off to enable output.
Enable Tracking: (For CH1/CH2) - Set desired voltages on CH1 and CH2. - Access the menu and enable tracking mode to maintain a constant ratio between the two channels. Combine Channels: - Wire channels in series or parallel as needed. - Use the Menu to combine readings from CH1 and CH2.
Turn Off the Device: - Disconnect all devices under test. - Push the Power button to turn off the instrument.
Troubleshooting
Reset Defaults: - Push Menu, select Default Set, and confirm to restore default settings. Calibration Check: Run performance verification as detailed in the manual.
