Class B Inspection IAW GEA Manual Document GM-4
The inspection, conducted in accordance with GEA Manual Document GM-4, will also include the completion of a Class A inspection simultaneously.
Generator quarterly inspection
Warning: Only qualified personnel should perform this inspection.
Check the condition of the generator enclosure.
Inspect the condition of the control panel and ensure it is functioning correctly.
Record the generator's hour meter reading.

Inspect the drive belts for wear and tension.
Check the coolant heater for proper operation.
Inspect the air filter for cleanliness and replace if necessary.
Check the oil level and replace or top up as required.
Inspect the fuel system for leaks and proper fuel level.
Check the exhaust system for leaks, damage, and proper mounting.
Inspect the alternator and starter for proper operation.
Verify that the generator is in AUTO mode.
Check all electrical connections for tightness and signs of corrosion.
Ensure that the surrounding area is clean and free of debris.
Inspector's signature confirming the completion of the inspection.
