Actual continuous mechanical exhaust meets minimum required
Actual emergency mechanical exhaust meets minimum required
Sail switch or other means installed to activate alarm if exhaust stops
Alarm functions properly when continuous exhaust fan is stopped
Ammonia detector installed to start emergency exhaust and activate alarm
Ammonia detector and related systems function properly with ammonia exposure
Fan belts, bearings, dampers, and filters in good condition
Heat installed to satisfy envelope heat loss and continuous ventilation load
Exhaust fan discharges located away from doors, windows, and air intake
Intake dampers are fail-open type
Intake louvers and exhaust fans promote mixing and avoid short circuiting
Emergency exhaust fans can be started manually from outside machinery room
Any conditions that might negatively affect safe ventilation operation
