Replace Lube Pump Strainer

• Place cardboard under the pump to catch any grease

• Loosen the flexible hose on the line, this will relieve pressure in the line-some grease will seep out of the fitting

• Remove the strainer cover - 1 3/8" wrench

• Remove and replace the strainer

• Replace the strainer cover

• Completely remove the flexible hose loosened earlier

• At the HMI open the setup-Machine screen

• Record the value set in the lube distance and change it to 1"

• Using the pendant move in X at least 1" until the lube pump starts

• When grease starts to come out of the fitting where you removed the hose press the e-stop to stop the lube pump

• replace the hose

• change the lube distance value back to the original value you recorded earlier

• Clean up any grease from the strainer housing and any hoses

• Properly dispose of the old strainer and cardboard and items with grease on them
