Turnstile Inspection

• Inspect for broken welds

• Inspect torque on all arm bolts and paint mark locations

• Remove covers and grease all fittings

• Inspect torque motor for defects

• Inspect all hoses and note defects for replacement.

• Note any leaks and create work order for repairs

Inspect and PM coil carts

• Check coil cart functions and verify remote is properly labeled

• Inspect fluid levels and add if needed

• Inspect cat track and cabling and report defects

• Remove top of coil cart and visually inspect bearings and hoses

• Grease all grease points

• Remove floor covers and clean all debris and scrap

Entry mandrel inspection and PM

• Test functions of mandrel expand and collapse.

• Remove chain cover and lube chain

• Check coolant level and add if needed

• Drain any water separators

• Check directional valves for leaks and report any repairs needed

• Inspect all hoses for damage and report any defects

• Test all switches on the remote stand

• Expand mandrel and grease all grease points on the mandrel

• Test shear blade

Micarta board inspection

• Inspect micarta board past shear blade, ensure all bolt heads are recessed and all bolt holes are filled

• Inspect micarta board on pit table, all bolt holes are filled and recessed

• Inspect micarta on thread table, bolt holes filled and recessed

• Inspect micarta at exit shear blade, bolt holes filled and recessed

Peeler table inspection

• Check for any leaks

• Inspect hoses for leaks and defects

• Check all limit switches

• Check functionality of trim adjusters

• Grease all grease points

Head transfer and turnstile

• Remove all floor covers and clean all debris and scrap

• Grease all grease points

• Lube the entire chain

• Check bolts on all torque motors

• Paint mark bolts for future reference

• Return floor covers and ensure all bolt holes are filled

• Check all hoses and report defects

Head inspection 1 and 2

• Test gear box functions up and down

• check gear oil and fill if needed

• Check parallel of head and confirm at least .002 clearance

• Grease all grease points

• Check wheels and bearings for defects

Tension stand Inspection

• Check parallel on sync wind rolls.

• Check bladders for leaks and report repairs needed

• Clean under sync wind rolls and drain oil

• Check welds on drag pads and reports repairs needed

• Check all cylinders and report defects

• Test exit shear blade and clean scrap

• Check all hoses for leaks or defects

Exit mandrel pm and inspection

• Test functionality of mandrel

• Test grip bar and ensure all screw holes are filled

• Check for leaks and report if repairs are needed

• Inspect all hoses and report defects

• Test pusher plate

• Drain all water separators

• Check gear oil level and add if needed

• Grease all grease points including removing covers and greasing couplings.

• Clean any oil that may have leaked in this area.

Hydraulic power house

• Check fluid level and add if needed

• Check for any leaks and report

• Inspect all hoses and report defects

• replace all dust filter on coolers

• verify both pumps are operating on balance pressures

• Clean any leaked oil around the hydraulic tank

Slitter motor inspection

• Inspect brushes on both motors

• Inspect gear oil level and add if needed

• Replace dust filters on entry and exit motors

• Clean any debris near the motors

Scrap baller inspection

• Test functions of scrap baller

• remove any loose scrap

• test safety devices at scrap baller

• remove cover and lube chain

• check gear oil and add if needed

• check all hoses and report defects

• Verify all limit switches working correctly and not bypassed
