Annual Maintenance and Cleaning Procedure for SM05

This procedure outlines the steps required for the annual maintenance and cleaning of the SM05 system. It includes detailed instructions for removing oil from the tank, cleaning the tank and associated components, reinstalling the baskets and oil, and performing maintenance on the Cool Blaster Mist Control system. Each step is designed to ensure the equipment operates efficiently and reliably.

    Using 2 little pumps from compressor shack that have screens on them first pump out small tank under conveyer routing the hoses thru zip ties that will hold them in place Then go get some other work while that is pumping when it’s empty begin pumping out main tank, you will need both citizen white plastic oil barrels to fit all oil in, while main tank is pumping

    remove basket from under conveyer empty into trash and clean with SM vac, then scoop chips out of conveyer tank into pail then vacuum remainder out with SM vac, once main tank is empty remove coolant pump into 5 gal pail then carefully remove float, now slide tanks conveyer assembly out from under machine to access cleaning under conveyer in tank scoop out chips that you can by hand, then use SM vac to get remainder of chips.

    Once tank is clean reinstall clean out chip basket in main tank, pump oil back into tanks with pumps

    Filter Inspection cleaned or replaced Clean out inside of mist collector cabinet with 5 parts water to 1 part special HD CAL CLEAN on a rag then dry with red rags Remove top grille clean both sides, also clean area under grille Be carful on fan to not disturb the balance clip on weights, Install backup mist filters with wires in them and 2 metal mesh thicker filters on bottom and 1 thinner metal mesh filter on top. Close door, lock, turn on fan control to middle verify orange lights on push red buttons to verify ( zap ).
