Fusion Weekly PM Inspection

Task 1.1 - Auto Lube System

• Green LED flash - every 7 seconds - normal operation

• Red LED double flash - every 8 seconds - malfunction/high pressure warning

• Red LED double flash - every 2 seconds - empty reservoir/change

Task 1.2 - Check HyPrecision™ Hydraulic Fluid Level

• Inspect hydraulic fluid level and temperature guage

• Inspect hoses and fittings for cracks, bulges and leaks

• Check filter flow indicators

Air filters

• Shutoff air supply

• release pressure at large garnet hopper

• rotate bottom and remove bowl

• unscrew filter and replace if necessary

Water Filters

• Shut off water to system

• Unscrew canisters and inspect water filters

• replace as needed

Task 1.3 - Entire Unit

• Inspect bellows

• Clean entire unit

Task 1.4 - Y Axis THK Rails and Gear Rack & Pinion

• Inspect rails for excessive wear/corrosion

• Clean rails and apply light coat of way oil

• Remove back cover and inspect pinion gear

• Utilize wire brush and degreaser to remove any build up

• inspect rack for missing teeth and sharp edges

• clean with degreaser and wire brush

• apply light coat of chain wax to rack

Task 1.5 - X Axis THK Rails and Gear Rack & Pinion

• Inspect rails for excessive wear/corrosion

• clean rails and apply light coat of way oil

• Inspect pinions for sharp or missing teeth

• Utilize wire brush and degreaser to remove any build up

• Inspect rack for missing teeth and sharp edges

• clean with degreaser and wire brush

• apply light coat of chain wax to racks

Lubrication

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to X-axis bearings

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to Y-axis bearings

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to Z-axis bearings

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to ball screw lower bearing

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to C-axis upper and lower bearing

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to servo motor bearing

• Apply one pump of type 2 grease to jet rise and fall fittings
