Gas train assembly LOW gas pressure safety switch test

    Section #1

To check the LOW pressure switch operation, slowly increase the LOW pressure switch setting from its standard setting of 3 inches water column with the burner operating. At some point the burner should shut down and a LOW gas pressure fault should be indicated on the CRT screen. Position the LOW pressure switch back to 3 inches water column. Proper operation of the LOW pressure safety switch has now been verified

To check the HIGH pressure switch operation, slowly decrease the HIGH pressure switch setting from its standard setting of 15 inches water column with the burner operating. At some point the burner should shut down and a HIGH gas pressure fault should be indicated on the CRT screen. Position the HIGH pressure switch back to 15 inches water column.
